We’re looking for an experienced Contract Coordination Manager to lead our Account Coordination and Scheduling team in Milton Keynes on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a key operational role, responsible for making sure planned and reactive works are coordinated effectively, service levels are achieved, customers receive an excellent service, and the wider operation has the support it needs to deliver.

You’ll lead and develop a busy coordination team, work closely with Account Managers and operational colleagues, and act as an escalation point when issues need resolving quickly.

  • Monitoring performance against KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve service
  • Managing workloads, staffing levels and resource requirements

  • Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring contractual requirements are understood and delivered
  • Working closely with Account Management, Helpdesk, Engineering, Commercial, Finance and Procurement teams
  • Reviewing operational and financial information to identify risks, trends and areas for improvement
  • Supporting the effective management of subcontractors and resolving escalated issues
  • Holding regular 1:1s, performance reviews and coaching conversations
  • Identifying training and development needs across the team
  • Supporting people-management processes including sickness and absence
  • Attending client and operational meetings as a representative of the coordination function
  • Helping ensure appropriate processes are in place to maintain service continuity when unexpected situations arise

Ultimately, you’ll make sure the team has the direction, support and structure it needs to deliver a consistently high-quality service.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Extensive experience in a similar customer service, coordination, scheduling or operational support role within a business services environment
